Features

Every car show is different.  We understand that.  That's why we've developed Car Show Pro to be as flexible as possible to allow event administrators to customize the software for their show.

  • FREE Membership Sign-Up

Car show participants can sign up for a Car Show Pro membership quickly and easily (and FREE!).

Build your Garage with all your classic cars, trucks and motorcycles, then register for events with just a few clicks. You'll even be able to view registration info, print your Dashcards (restrictions apply) and track your participation.

  • Beautiful & Smart Dashcards

We've got the best Dashcards in the business!

Your event information and logo are prominently displayed along with the auto ID and participant auto and owner information.

Additionally, our Dashcards feature a QR Code which allows both judges and spectators access to quick, easy and automated voting.  Learn more about QR Codes.

  • Dashboard

Your Dashboard is your your account overview.  You can manage your profile and contact information, view the events you are registered for, view/add or modify the autos in your garage and manage events either you have created or have been invited to act as an admin, judge or staff member.

    Dashboard

Normally when you log in, you are directed to your Dashboard.  The Dashboard provides a quick and easy way to view your Car Show Pro member details.  You may access various sections of your Dashboard either by:

  • Manage Your Event

Event Administrators have the highest level of access for the event.

If you created an event, you are automatically set as an event administrator.  If you received an invitation to act as an admin for an event, you share the same level of access as the event owner.

Event Administrators are the only user that can edit event information, change options for the event and create, edit or delete Judging Criteria and Auto Classifications.  Admins may also add or remove event staff, judges and master judges for the event.  They can also act as a Head Judge for the event, which is useful for smaller events which do not require a Head Judge.

    • Details tab

The Details tab contains the most prevalent information for your event, such as Event Name, Start and End Times, links to Social Media pages, etc.

      TIP

To View Your Custom Event Page URL:

    • Scorecards tab

Scorecards are used by event judges to score an auto.

Scorecards hold Judging Criteria, a Description and a Value paired together (e.g. Exterior, 20) used to score an auto.

Multiple judging criteria can be 'grouped' together to create the Scorecard.

    • Classifications tab

Auto Classifications are groups of autos with similar attributes, such as Make (e.g. Ford, Chevy, Mopar) or region of production (e.g. Domestic, Import) or style of auto (e.g. Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles).

Auto Classifications allow admins to group similar autos for judging (event judging as well as People's Choice).

    • Adding Staff, Judges & Admins to Your Show

Create and manage your staff, judges and admins.

      IMPORTANT

You WILL NOT see your name in the staffing list.  There is no need to add yourself again.

    • Settings tab

All of your general event settings and options are managed on this tab.

      Event settings and Defaults

      • Type of event - Is your event a Judged or Non-Judged Event?  Judged events are competition style events, with show judges.  Non-Judged events are people’s choice voting events, car cruises, show-n-shines or events that do not have show judges.  Default for new events is 'Judged'.

  • Event Judging
  • Event Staffing

Event Staff are users tasked with registering participants on the day of the event.  Event Staff and Administrators can add or edit participants into the system as well as print event reports.

Event Staff must be invited by the Event Administrator.  Once the Event Administrator has invited you, you should receive an email notification of the invitation with the event details.

  • One Unified, Complete Solution for Voting and Judging

At the heart of our Dashcards are the QR Code and Smart URL.

Each auto has a unique QR Code and Smart URL, providing quick and easy access to People's Choice and Event Judging.

Combining the QR Code, Smart URL and Auto ID, Car Show Pro offers more ways to access People's Choice or Event Judging than any other available solution in the market.  Users can choose how to interact with the software, using their cellular-enabled smartphone, tablet or laptop.

Users can access People's Choice or Event Judging, with or without a QR Code Reader, using one of three available methods: Scan the Code, Enter the URL or Search by Auto ID.

  • Online and/or On-Site Registration

Event administrators can specify whether to accept registrations online, at the event or both!

You choose if you want to accept online registrations and whether payment is required.  If online registration is enabled, you choose the following option:

    • CC payment required: online registrants must pay at the time of registration with their credit card (credit card processing fees will be invoiced to the show)
  • Supports Multiple Users

Car Show Pro is a web-based application, meaning it supports multiple users.  Multiple users can access the event at the same time, each using their own login.

Event administrators can assign multiple Staff, Master Judges, Judges and Admins to assist in their event.  Users can be created quickly and easily using the Adding Staff, Judges & Admins to Your Show in the Event Administration area.

  • QR Codes
  • User Roles

Car Show Pro allows event admins to set user roles for various event staff for the event.

Each user role has a specific set of abilities within the software.  Generally, for a 'judged' event, one or more Judges will be required.

Additionally, Staff may be required, both in advance as well as at the event, to provide registration services to those entering at the event.

  • Event Administration Overview

Access to the various event functions is limited by each user's 'user role'.  For example, and event administrator has access to all functionality, while a Judge can only access the Judge Autos, People's Choice and Assign Awards sections (if enabled by the Event Administrator).  Additionally, Judges and Staff have limited access to their respective event functionality.  For more information on the various types of users for an event, see our User Roles page.

  • People's Choice Voting

People's Choice Voting is a great way to engage your spectators, allow them to interact with your show and choose the winners!

Many car shows are doing away with the traditional 'judged' shows either due to a lack of available judges or complaints from participants that judging is not unbiased or they feel their auto should have 'scored better'.

    • How to Vote

People's Choice - How to Vote

Using your cellular-enabled smartphone or tablet, you can cast your vote and help determine the People's Choice winner(s).  Simply find the auto(s) you like best and follow one of the steps below.

There are three ways spectators can participate in People's Choice voting:

      Scan the QR Code

Using your smartphone camera, browser or QR Code Reader, simply scan the QR Code on the Dashcard for the auto of your choice

(the easiest and quickest way to vote).

      Enter the URL

Manually enter the unique voting URL for that auto.

      (located below the QR Code).

      Search by Auto ID

Search for the Auto ID from the People's Choice voting page for that event.
